I want to buy a gaming system from Digital Storm but am not sure on which processor to buy. I am on a tight budget ( about 2000 including the monitor ) and I want to get the most out of my money. I have a copy of Windows XP. Should I use that or get Vista? Can you guys lead in me in the right direction.
My main interest is MMOs and RTS games.

Thanks

I'd suggest maybe trying to save a few bucks by getting a cheap monitor elsewhere.  You pay for the expert wiring and great customer service.  I don't see how they could improve the monitor.

If you are on a tight budget and you have a license key that can be transferred from your current computer to a new one, I think you can safely wait to install Vista. Just leave a ~20GB+  partition available when you format the HDD and install XP. The only thing is, you'll miss out on any DX10 experiences with the latest MMO's and RTS titles.

TryThis

Just install your copy of XP yourself to Dual boot.
