I really would love to wait for the AMD's Phenom FX; but im so psyched about finally having xtra money to buy the rig of my dreams; that I just dont think I have the patience to wait.  Its driving me nuts to go with Intel for an array of reasons.  I havent had Intel since their Pentium II I think; not sure I know I had Intel around 1992 or a little earlier; I remember when AMD's first came out; and I purchased one; and I was thrilled with it and never went back to Intel.  But from all the Research Ive done and people I have talked to it seems that Intel QX6850 is the only way to go for a top of the line Gaming Rig.

There is a lot of fanboys debating on what is a truely native quad core but most people's opinion (definition of native) is: Native is four cores on a single die that comes in one package. Intel Core 2 Quads are not native. It is two Core 2 Duos stuck together.

You shouldn't worry about it.. in the end, it all comes down to performance and price.

hehe I wasn't worried about.  basically this is going to be for those people that are like OOOOO a true quad regardless if it's less then the other quads that are not native.

plus I highly doubt it's going to be a really huge boost.
