AMD's Phenoms received a price cut yesterday while their dual core Athlons will receive a price cut later in January.

The AMD Phenom 9500 now retails for $199 at www.newegg.com.

$45 more for the 9600 which is only .1 mhz faster than the 9500, genius pricing scheme.
