So this link is for a review of the AMD R9 270x, but I'm sharing it because it has several charts showing you comparisons in synthetic benchmarks for the 280X, The GTX 770, GTX 780, etc... If you want some info ont he 270X, here it is... but the main point is the benchmarks for the 280X vs the 770 and 780.
Keep in mind that drivers will improve the performance of the 270X and the 280X. I think for it's price... it is amazing. 280X for $300 and it's barely being beat by the GTX 780 in some cases here. It even beat the GTX 780 in some of the games at the 1600p and 4k resolutions. I can't wait to see the 290X. I really hope it puts up one hell of a fight. http://www.eteknix.com/gigabyte-radeon-r9-270x-windforce-oc-2gb-graphics-card/4/ Edited by Meller - 11 Oct 2013 at 2:14pm |

I just wish those charts on tomshardware provided more high end cards like the GTX 780 and 770. Also to note, that was published on the 7th. Meaning that the odds of them having press released versions were possible, but slim.
