This could be good considering Ati Gfx cards have 800 stream processors compared to nvidias 240. This could be a huge reason for developers to adopt this over cuda. Far more processors.

The only diffrence is CUDA is CPU independent. And given how the majority don't have AMD CPU's, this is a war i'm already willing to call won in NVIDIAs favor.

Gamer2k, the whole point of CUDA and STREAM is to bypass the CPU completely. All processing will be done on the GPU[s]. So no, it doesn't matter what CPU a user has.
