On fedex, it says my pc is weighing 70lbs. Is it just me, or is this really heavy for a pc?

What did you order ? Imagine the shock and surprised of the box my PC came in. It was huge. Could hardly get it in the front door, around a banister and up a flight of stairs.

I'm pretty sure mine weighs between 40 and 70 lbs. The pcs are big (aside from the Bolt and Enix) compared to average pcs such as Dell and HP

Given that you ordered a (near) full-sized tower, and that shipping companies tend to overstate the weight, my guess is that 70lbs is well within expected limits. Not an odd question at all. Big%20Smile

funny story about how i got my pc...

the fedex guy kept coming while i was at class, so i had to drive out to the closest fedex shipping center to pick it up. the woman working their had to help me load the box into the car, and it barely fit into the back seat (it was too big to put into the trunk even lol).

i drove it back to my apartment, and then went to bring it upstairs, and encountered a problem: i couldnt get the box back out of the car. i probably spent 30 minutes trying to get the damn thing out, and finally gave up. i had to get grab a knife and cut it open in the back seat of the car, pull the PC out and then carry it inside.

so my PC was born in my car's backseat

One note I would like to add is try to keep your original shipping box if possible. If you have to send it back to DS for repair or upgrade your good to go.

I used a dolly to move my Aventum II its massive makes the 900d look small. I would compare the Aventum II case to a Case Labs STH10.

The DS shipping box itself must be 20 pounds.

Its up in the garage, and been waiting 2 years this month to be used again.    But, nope, this rig is just humming along.
