Thanks all. Yes the case is wonderful. It is very roomy and well made but now my monitor and desk look so small :) Hopefully the new desk parts arrive soon and I can get the 6 foot wide table built to hold this, multiple monitors, and my other systems.

It's been hours and hours of windows updates and installs and such ... games take forever to update. But this thing is incredibly fast by my standards. So far as I can tell I haven't used anywhere near all its resources, other than the network interface.

I caught some teasing about the price and size of this thing, but I'm loving it. Even though I don't need the extra disk space, I have an additional 1TB drive I'm going to install. It's been sitting in its box for a while, I picked it up on sale and never used it.

I haven't decided if I want to take the side and top vent covers off or not. So far the system stays cool even with gaming, but since I use a headset noise isn't an issue. When I don't wear my headset, I actually find the fans a comforting reminder of my early career as a computer operator.

I've tested it with the top panel on and off. Couldn't really see a difference in temps. But I finally settled on propping the top panel open just a bit because I like giving it a little room to breath up top with the 240mm radiator. It's probably not even needed but I do it.
