In case anybody was wondering about the outcome of my RMA for the leaky cooling system (discussed in an earlier thread) where there was discussion of whether non-conductive FluidXP spills could cause damage or not (which I decided not to update and resurrect it since it veered so far off topic, and also because I’m well satisfied with the repairs performed by DS and don’t want to revisit the issue http://www.digitalstormonline.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=7090); paraphrasing the update emails received from DS: the ram and the GTX 295 were pulled out, given time to dry, and I’m happy to say were still in good working order. The EVGA x58 motherboard however didn’t survive and had to be replaced.  Quoting from another DS email, the culprit was: “coolant was leaking from the CPU waterblock. The block had a hairline crack under the bottom barb.”
