hi was wondering if someone could give me help on this build .
when i play very seldom go over 1280x1024 is this a good setup ?? do i need 2 video cards?

For your resolution id say SLI isnt needed. a 22incher though can go up to 1600xwhatever and maybe more, so if you ever decide to go higher rez then of course SLI would be good for it.
Other then that the build looks good.

The native resolution on the monitor you selected is 1680x1050. While I can appreciate that you do not currently game at resolutions higher than 1280x1024, this is likely about to change. A monitor size of 22 inches is right at the point where SLI starts to make sense. If an occasional slowdown during moments of intense action isn't going to bother you, the single card solution can handle that screen size very well. If that is the sort of thing that just ruins a game for you completely, stick with the SLI.
The rest of the build looks well thought out, and solid. |
