Hi Doug2255... The build looks good to me.   If you want the best in warranty coverage and reliability, change the HDD to the Western Digital Black.   Also, change the DS vortex 240mm rad for the Corsair H110.   The DS unit I believe carries a warranty for as long as your DS warranty, 3 years parts on the 5 year promo, while Corsair carries a 5 year.    The 240mm rad will help in cooling the 6 core CPU with overclock. A 120mm rad would also work, but the 240 gives more headroom.

The LPX ram does offer a little better heat spreader for cooling and higher overclock potential plus XMP profiles to match.   For most however, the DS at the same speed is all you need, unless you plan on your own oc'ing.

Strix is worth it on the card for its 0rpm profile at lower temps and much better quality custom circuitry.    Just be aware the Strix empty its heat into the case and not out the back like reference. Apollo 760t should have little problem with its decent airflow.

Hope this helps and good luck.

I just placed the order which DID include you comments, at least for the Corsair H110 and DS memory.

I will be adding a couple of existing HDDs and DVD burners (from my old DS Slade build). Therefore, I opted not to spend too much more on WD Black HDD.

Here is what I wound up with (knowing DS like I do [this is my 5th desktop build] I am sure I can still make some changes if I so desire.
