Are there any free Anti-Virus/Spyware programs out there that anyone uses?
In my experience Norton/McAfee never really worked too well.

AVG and Panda are great free anti-virus/spyware software.
Windows Defender is included with Vista and is a free download from Microsoft. It's good too =) Edited by skyR - 19 Aug 2007 at 8:47pm |

SPybot is a good spy ware program that is free. I have been using it with Windows Defender, Avast and AVG with good luck.

Try Avast for AV software and Ad-Aware for spyware...they're both free and have great reviews on www.download.com. I am currently running them on both my XP machines with no issues.
