I'm talking about the wireless cards for the x17 laptop.
I don't know what brand or how well the default "802.11 B/G/N Wireless LAN Module" is compared to the "Intel Advanced-N 6230 Wireless LAN Module". I have a router from AT&T U-verse and its the max turbo one. Using my desktop, the wireless gets 54mbps all the time. Would there be any significant difference between the two cards? I could use the upgrade money for a premium ic thermal compound instead |

I haven't had any experience with those 2 wireless network solutions but if it was one or the other i would go for the better thermal compound every time.

I was gonna go with intel ultimate 6300 but it will just work like a 6230 because I don't have the right router for it. Still using G not N.
