the nvidia 480 uses more power and is hotter than the 5870 but is about 10-15% better. If you dont really need the blu ray id say drop it. But yea it looks fine either way. If you want a extra few degrees cooler then go with the D14 but doesnt rly matter much.

yea cooler and use less power.. becuase its not as strong as the 480
 
much like a hybrid car is more efficient than a muscle car, yet does not hold the same power
 
i would definitely switch to the 480, and as a personal option i would choose 2x500s over 1 tb for security, and i have heard some wierd things about going up to and over 1tb on drives, nothing i can prove, just stuff ive seen around

Thanks for the advice, plan on getting it in about a month. Wonder if any new video cards will be out by then.
