1st of all u have some problems you computer cant use 32 bit i believe anything past 2gb of ram you need 64 bit.
2 y a 950 its just a waste of 300$
3 dont OC the video card to much heat for the littler performance gains and oc your memorys a waste 2 it will decrease the health of your memory and is generally not needed

with the money u saved from going to 950 to 920 u can go LC if u want for lower temps
finally may i ask what monitor ull be using cuz i have a strange feeling u wont need 2x 275 Edited by inferno23 - 15 Jun 2009 at 10:59am |

lol inferno you do realize you build is a copy of mine, minus the v8 right? and since DS does not carry the v8 anymore its gonna cost him more to get the v8 now, since probably he will have to special order it, which is why I didn't pick it, not to mention that the difference is $20

actually i did but only after i posted my config we prob did so close to the same time. anyways i suggested he go LC instead and no i didnt know DS didnt have the V8 no more i just took his ticket and readjusted it
and just so you know you most likely wont need 2x275 unless ure going higher than a resolution of 1920x 1200 and a lot of games dont really use sli there are some and nividia has em all on their website Edited by inferno23 - 15 Jun 2009 at 11:08am |

LC is great for you temps, but you don't need it unless you want to go with stage 2 OC.
if you ask me its a matter of preference at your resolution game-wise stage 2 oc won't make much of a difference, in other tasks stage 2 OC will give you better speed. both builds will do great, its your choice. Edited by DST4ME - 15 Jun 2009 at 11:13am |

Should I keep the 2 video cards or go one because I was looking for performance closer to the 295 but I could just go one for now if it wont help me much.

2 x 275 is the best option.
1. they cost less then 295. 2. they do better then 1 x 295 with games that support sli. 3. for games that don't support sli they will do better then 295. for your resolution you need 2 gpus to get over 60 fps in games. Edited by DST4ME - 15 Jun 2009 at 11:35am |

Forgot to choose a color so guess they will put whatever they do by default since i'm not very interested in colors and lights but they already have my build at stage 5 now.

What did brown do to you?
Though honestly, i live in FedEx central.. if i say something negative about Mr. Smith or his wonderful team of people i'll get black-bagged and overnighted to Tehran.
Good example: In most towns, when a FedEx plane lands, shatters the front landing gear, sparks a fire that engulfs an engine, shreds the runway and shoots sparks and flames onto major thoroughfares, it hits the news. In Memphis, it's a bi-line in the classifieds and not worthy of prime time. For the record, it's really hard not to look at a flaming 727 smoldering down a runway as you drive beside it a few hundred yards away.

You forgot about how all the packages where unharmed until they took them to the trash compacter before shipping remains to their clients. Standard FedEx procedure.
