Thinking of buying it sooner than later but if something new pops up and price drop ...............
For the HD and software I can get it at discounts from other place so no worries. would be nice if their was more of an option of video card and casing mods.

I believe that for the price of the quad i can get a decent pc or laptop aready so the price of the quad dont really add up overall, looking for something good and decent price that will last me a while, not the cost of one item on the system to be more than most of the system it self.
also it seems like this laptop dont support a quad processor only the benchmark crusher does. Edited by vangc - 17 Oct 2008 at 2:14am |

yes only BC does quad.
well I was just asking, some people don't know there are quad laptops, you obviously do. OK well, your system looks nice, I would recommend the T9xx CPU, from my experience they run better, I have a x9000 right now, my laptop came with a T7700 and I upgraded the CPU to x9000, Reguardless your cpu has the same socket "p" as my chip so you could be able to upgrade down the line to a X9100 or possibly the quad core version (qx9300), tho I'm not sure this mombo supports the quad version. Just another quick question with this setting, how many years and/or months would I be able to do Auto CAD, graphic design, and engineering? Edited by vangc - 22 Oct 2008 at 10:54pm |

not sure to be honest, but if you are fine with a dual core you should be fine for a couple of years, it really matter on how much power the apps themselves will require, but you should be fine.

also after checking the specs on these 2 sites:
over all the P9500 has more feature
But the real truth according to the spec the P950 will be better for 64 bit OS than the T9600? Can someone check on this for me? |
