Is anyone familiar with this monitor, or have any input on it for a primary gaming purpose?

I wouldn't recommend Hanns
I tried a monitor from them,
and I haven't bought one since.

It had a couple of dead pixels.

you could find better for that price range.
try dell or even samsung.
