I was able to squeak out 4.025 out of my 965.. DS had it clocked right at 4 so I bumped it up slightly. |

Settings are set to enthusiast and 8xQ, playing at 1900-1200 and I get around 35-45 fps..
Its very playable and looks great, but I would like to add another card in the future for higher frame rates. Currently stuck with SLI, but Im plan on upgrading in 4-6 months to the classified or w/e is the latest and greatest.
Im pretty sure jamesastro's 965 ended up oc'd to 4.0 by DS.... There is like 2 or 3 others I know of but I can't think of there names atm.. Edited by Dsnewb210 - 24 Mar 2009 at 9:43pm |

Anything above 4GHz seems to be a real time consuming challenge. Disabling HT (useless anyway) can usually get ya another 200MHz+.

no, one of my builds, its still work in progress.. the 3 GTX 260's were shipped to Evga yesterday, for a step up to the GTX 275's.. I had a bad stick of Kingston ram, the RMA set should be here next week..The Intel SSD's need a firmware update. ect..
When you build your own computer and it goes flawless, its a great feeling, but this one has been a nightmare... so many DOA parts, or incompatible parts. and builder errors. lol It is times like this when having DS build me another computer seems like the better option. lol

very nice but I think the topic is about one of DS's systems hitting over 4GHz
but very nice specially like you said its really nice to build one that goes flawless and then afterwards you get a nice OC on top of that |
