Hello,

Trying to help my son drain his brand new aventum x to send it back for repairs, there does not appear to be a QD on the right side so no room to attach the QD drain tube, am I missing something? Thing has been nothing but a headache, about to drive it back to DS myself and return it.. Not what I bargained for in a 7k gift to my son..

Thanks

Actually they don't.. straight from DS support, "Unfortunately, there is not yet an updated video guide to reflect the newest updates to our Aventum X systems".

4 year old video, the aventum x cooling has changed, don't think a current guide would help anyway since there is not a quick disconnect on both sides. I can disconnect the left side from the radiator and slide the telescoping tube (pic in OP) but there is no room to connect the QD drain tube and if I unscrew the telescoping tube from the right radiator liquid will just pour out.. kinda stuck here, can't ship it back with liquid in it and can't drain it safely..

Yes, but no help, given I think it is missing the parts necessary to safely drain it.
