Never owned or used an Ipod for storage device so I have a question about it before I make the purchase.
Do computers need iTunes installed to move / get files from the Ipod? Or does it work like a normal usb memory stick once you enable it for disk use? |

When you enable Disc Use in iTunes you can use it as a USB Mass Storage Device.

I already know that you can enable disc use in iTunes, but do other computers need iTunes to receive / send files from the iPod?
