Expectations: yesterday my last computer from DS turned 5 years old. Would like something that could last that long again with minor upgrades

Hi Riley.... That's an excellent build.

For sli 980ti in the future, I'd go with the 850watt psu for just a few bucks more.    The 750watt will most likely be OK, but most sites recommend 800watt minimum.   Not much more for decent headroom.

Stage 2 DS might not do.   They go for stability and the added small bump in speed, 4.3 vs 4.5 for example, isn't very noticable.
