I got a 4 year old gaming laptop that I use for WoW. It's slowly starting to show its age. I plan to get a new one later this year before WoWs next expansion. Before I do though I'd like to get as much out of this one as I can.
Has anyone used any really good optimizer that they then noticed an improvement with their pc? Maybe it's my way thinking, but I've always looked at programs that say 'we found 76 errors, pay us now to fix them' as a scam. Am I wrong to think this way? |

I no longer recommend any no. For years I recommended CCleaner but between their own program getting hijacked with malware not once, but twice, and Avast buying them (and Avast has a just fabulous track record with privacy) I no longer install CCleaner on any of my machines nor do I recommend it. I've not used in "optimizer" program for a long time now. I use Windows Defender, MalwareBytes (Free), Common Sense™, and then Window's own disk cleaning utilities and I have zero issues.
