Will somebody please tell me if these specs will be able to play games
very well or if they still need tuning? I have about 3000 dollars and
I can't mess this up. Please please if you have any suggestions tell
me, I don't have much money and this computer has to last me a while
and I am trusting ds. here are the specs.

Should I be worried about water cooling? Is it risky and high maintenance? If a pipe breaks will ds replace it for me? If it is high maintenance what do I have to do? I may have other questions. Once again please help me out with this. |

Ive got 2 more questions.
If i have a linksys wireless G router 2.4GHz, what type of connection should I choose for my desktop for best connection? I live in san francisco, would it be possible for me to drive down to san jose and pick up the desktop and save some money instead of shipping? |

im not the expert here, but I can help you with a couple things.
Other customers in the past have picked up their system from DS, so I assume you would be able to as well.
Liquid cooling isnt as high maintenance as everyone seems to think, and unless im mistaken since it came from DSO it would be under warranty for the 3 years.(pipe breaks)
Some people think that future upgrades will become more power effecient and will use less power than they do now, so technically your PSU would work.
I recommend you upgrade your case, or add additional fans by calling them to cool those 2 8800 GT... mine get really hot.
That system would be able to handle anything out now.
A1 revision motheboard has better options for overclocking making your OC able to go higher as well.

so you think that I should skip the water cooling and go for fans, upgrade the chassis or add more fans.
How do I add more fans? Why should I skip water cooling? |

sorry for double posting again, but I can't edit my first one.
Will the high speed network port work with my router? should I change my screen for better pixel ratio or stick with1680 x 1050? |

That config doesn't work if you want the price of the monitor included, if you do then drop the GTS's to the GT's, also if you could go with the 680AI mobo instead since you can't tri-sli with the GTS/gt.
As for watercooling you don't really need it if you ask for 2-3 extra fans($10 each, and you request them in the order comments of your purchase). The GTS/GT's are warm cards but if you adjust their fan speeds and your case has enough air blowing through you are fine.

do you recommend fans over liquid cooling? Does it work as well as liquid cooling? could I get both extra fans and Liquid cooling?

Liquid cooling is more for those with 2-3 HD's/2 optical drives/SLI GTX/Ultras. If you wen that way you wouldn't need extra fans and you'd get a higher OC for your cpu with it as well.
I recommend it if you have the money for it, as your budget is maxed out as it is i wouldn't consider it.
Go with the extreme case, extra fans, and just make sure you adjust the fan speeds for whatever GPU you choose.
