Budget is around $2300. Will be used mainly for
gaming/movies. Monitor is 1920x1080. Don't plan on going SLI anytime soon. Mostly likely will be adding a sound card at a later date. Any suggestions would be helpful.

wow, there's really nothing to improve on that there. Go for it!
The only thing you might consider is getting a haf 932 instead of the haf X. save a little cash, and the 932 has the same cooling power, size, features, etc. Minor detail though, if you love the 942, stick with it. Edited by Ch3ssplay3r - 07 Aug 2010 at 8:47pm |

I am going to do almost the exact same build but DS is going to add all Blue LED Fans for $ 150.00 and i am going with the Intel 160gb SSD. And they are going to paint my Noctua 14 Fan shrouds for me since the white is Narsty !

150 seems a little steep for 4 led fans... which fans are you getting?
im confused by your 2nd statement as well... where do you see white? unless you mean tan.. what color are they painting it?
