My new DS computer arrived today @ 3:15 CST. One day sooner than expected!! Arrived with no damage, excellent packaging and the wiring inside the PC is neat as I have ever seen. Excellent quality. Hooked every thing up and fired up the computer, it came alive, turned on the new 28" Hannspree monitor and vista in all its glory came on!!! Beautiful picture. Clicked on the preloaded FSX  and WOW, there it was but I noticed in the upper RH side of the screen it said NO SOUND. I use headphones all the time. I have Razer Barracuda AC-1 sound card, however, my Logitech headphone will not plug into the sound card  because of a different connector. The connector did plug into the Motherboard audio but still no sound. I know this is probably a minor problem. Does anyone have any ideas to get me on the right track to help solve this audio problem? Probably something dumb on my part. My Logitech headphone has one black and one orange (pink) connector. Thanks.....

With the Barracuda card there is an adapter for the DVI looking port to regular 3.5mm audio ports.  Look in your accessories box and you should find it.

Hey Harleyman & Venom.....Hooked up adapter and still no sound anywhere.... I had to reset my video card and I'll try to reset my sound card. Shipment sometimes jars components inside......

Checked sound card....it was tight and in place. Checked to be sure headphones were ok...Checked ok.  Headphone hookup pretty much fool proof. Went into Barracuda program...selected headphone, made sure every thing was on...Check ok.  No sound from video card or motherboard sound hookup.....?  Duno

Hey guys, Harley I like you little plane!!! I do have SOUND.........SOOOOO goodTongue

Randy called from tech support, however, before he called I found a loose connection at the plug in port on the sound card. He did double check everything and now I'm good to go..... Harley, did you get your problem solved?
