It looks like the RAM is  actually Corsair sticks, which is fine by me lol.  I guess the video cards are EVGA reference models. I also requested the SSD to be hooked into a 3Gb/s slot rather than 6 to avoid marvel controller  **Edit - yes it is in SATA 3Gb/s,  it looks like the bluray drive is the one in the SATA III.**Edit -  resistors were in the noctua fan lines, I took them out.**

The Fan plugs - they all go to one fan power outlet it seems.

woops disregaurd didnt know the 320 is still sata 2. Just so you know you have 2 very capable native sata 6 ports on the mobo.

I think those are resistors, too.
Anyway, I looked around the back and the SSD and hard drives are routed like I wanted.

The Sandy Bridge P67 chipset motherboards have the benefit of 4 native Intel SATA 3Gb/s ports and 2 native Intel SATA 6Gb/s ports. Depending on the motherboard it might also include 2 addition Marvell ports though, so be sure to distinguish between the Marvell and Intel 6Gb/s ports. According to the ASUS spec sheet the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe does have the additional Marvell ports, which are colored navy blue, the Intel 6Gb/s ports are colored gray.

Though as Rice has already noted, the 320 series won't break SATA 3Gb/s speeds, so it isn't really going to matter either way as long as it's on an Intel port.

That makes sense. I was wondering why there was a gray and dark blue 6Gb/s port.  The light blue 3Gb/s ports have all the hard drives hooked to them. A while back I had done the math on the 320 series max speeds vs the ceiling of SATA 2 and SATA 3, and it seemed like 3Gb/s was still enough...so I'm not worried. Better than any HDD by a lot at any rate. I suppose I could switch it over to a gray intel 6 Gb/s later if I wanted, but it shouldn't make a difference I guess.

@bishamon,

Great review! If you can write up some stuff summarizing your experience, we can then quote something in it and move it to the "Customer Reviews" section.

@bishamon,

Can you make a new post without the images of the fan connections and all of the talk about helping you figure out?

This way the new thread is fresh and is just the review of your system.
