i noticed your configurators don't offer a choice of the new USB 3.1 (U3.1) ASUS boards. do you have them in?  are they an option?

We have a couple USB 3.1 options on the Z97 chipset. No word on X99 availability yet but if you wish to get one ASAP we should be able to special order it for you. Just give our sales team a call and they will be able to get you sorted.

thanks for the quick reply.  i am in fact considering an X99 platform for my next system build and i'm just waiting a few more months for hardware releases/reviews before pulling the trigger on a DS purchase (Aventum III most likely).  i will want to "future proof" it as much as possible and a usb 3.1C NVMe capable board will definitely need to be part of the purchase.

If you don't might waiting even longer and paying the "new product" price, Intel is dropping their new chipset + cpu family this fall/early winter.
