I could not find one post where any one suggested the ASUS p6t Deluxe MB. Is it that for some reason you don't like them? Does everyone just agree that the EVGA is better for some reason?

I have had good luck with ASUS boards for the last 10 years or so but I am open minded.

Intended Computer usage:
Video production, graphics programs and about 10 percent games. Mostly driving games.

Thanks for any help.

How can it be a low budget board when DS charges $13 more for it than the EVGA LE?
What makes the EVGA better?

Thanks

Ok now the RAM debate. Would I really notice the difference between 3 megs of ram vs 6 megs of ram? If so, would that be in all programs and games or only certain ones that are designed to take advantage of the extra ram?

Thanks for the help, I am getting closer to pulling the trigger here.

Classified is for oc enthusiast, and has more 16x pic-e slots, if I'm not mistaken.

more ram = more multitasing, for your graphic and video editing, you might want 6GB but how much are you using now?

why don't you just post your ticket number and let us have a look over and tell you what we think.

LE version is a dumbed down version of the board with less features/ports, no active cooling, low pci-e lanes etc.

The LE has support for 4 GPUs (Tri-SLI + Physx) and the x58 SLI doesn't. The LE also has a better 8-pin auxiliary position, but not by much.
