The ODE 2 has this motherboard:  ASUS P8P67 LE (Intel P67 Chipset) (New B3 Revision) (Does Not Support SLI.

It has the i7-2600k cpu.

In the "cpu boost" section: it says: "Stage 2: Overclock CPU 4.5GHz to 4.8GHz (Requires Pro or Deluxe Series Motherboard.

Is the p8p67 LE mb equal to or greater than the Pro or Deluxe?

No its not, the oc settings here are based on what DS likes to do, everybody needs to remember that this is DS and they will do things how they see fit, however that has nothing to do with how things really are, in short, the lables on the config page of how a part is "good" but another is "better" is purely DS's opinion, and not one we all agree on.

DS preferes to do OCs of 4.4 or higher on pro and deluxe mobos, but that does not mean others won't do it, as you see DS themselves are doing it on the LE, but the oc config page they are using on the ode is the same as other configs, so you get the default message of "(Requires Pro or Deluxe Series Motherboard.".

Thanks for the response. I have emailed Craig at DS for his response. I am inclined to buy the ODE 2 once I have this mb question clarified.

From Craig at DS:  "I just spoke with our assemblers, and the LE board can be overclocked at those levels just fine."

DS changed the ODE models again. ODE 2, when I originally posted, is now ODE 1. So ODE 1 has the p8p67 LE mb and gtx 570 gpu. The present ODE 2 has the sabertooth mb with sli gtx 560 gpus.

Bingo!

Since the ODE is a pre-built system, we have the resources set up to create units with certain overclocking results.
