While not listed in the configurator, is it possible to order a Dreadnought system with the Asus P8Z77-V PRO/THUNDERBOLT motherboard? If so, would the price be about the same as the Asus SABERTOOTH or DELUXE board in this system?

Hi Tucquan,
These are custom systems and DS will do just about anything you ask and are willing to pay for. You can send them the mobo or have them order it. There is usually a fee for these special orders. Then there is always the problem with a special order that it doesn't work. So another one has to be obtained and the old one returned. Again more cost to you. If there is a problem with a stock Mobo then DS just goes to stock and gets another one. I would imagine that DS will stock thunderbolt Mobo if there is a demand. It is still early in the tech. Thanks, Frank. That makes sense. I'm hopeful DS will add it to their line soon, but if not, I can go down the special order road. I'm anticipating also buying a notebook/ultrabook with a thunderbolt port when they become more readily available and I want to be able to share TB devices with my desktop.
