I'd get the TUF. Looking at this comparison, the TUF has slightly better specs at a lower price, so....

Be careful as to the card you will be using. The TUF monitor is FreeSync (AMD graphics) and the ROG is G-Sync (Nvidia cards)

Actually, the TUF monitor is Certified G-Sync compatible.

I have a VG27AQ myself and I highly recommend it. Beautiful colors and high refresh rate, it's a wonderful experience to look at.
