I noticed in the build configurator that the default mobo is now the Asus Sabertooth. I assume this is because the evga sli3 is still backordered till the end of the month. Is the sabertooth a good substitution? Anyone have any experience with this mobo?

Yes, that is correct. EVGA is having backlog issues... I believe it's due to production problems.

We've had great results with the Asus Sabertooth and it also has a lower price point!

I like the Sabertooth  Cool It appeals to the rugged individualist in me  Strong  If I were buying two Systems Id make one of them a Sabertooth build...but I only need one so Im going a different road.

I am now lthinking i will be going with the Rampage III Gene. From what i read on the Asus website, it comes with X Fi surround sound built in and Kapersky anti virus. Seems like a pretty good deal for a extra 46 bucks.

It isn't. It's an earlier x58 board, total crap.
