ASUS VH236H Monitor Problem!

I got the ASUS VH236H and when i hooked it up to my ps3 with an HDMI cable, the sound from games doesn't work. All i hear is a loud buzzing noise coming from the back. When i plug in external speakers, the buzzing noise transfers to them. When i use my wireless ps3 headphones, then i can hear my game properly and no buzzing. I also tried netflix on my ps3 and no buzzing noise. Only when i play games the noise starts. Can anyone help? I hope i can fix it >.<

Are you using onboard audio from the mobo or a sound card?

well the ODE lvl 2, now called lvl 1, comes with an Integrated Motherboard Audio, but thats on the pc. when i hook up the ps3 to my monitor through hdmi cable, netflix works fine but for games, all i hear is a loud buzzing noise.

Basically you're having an audio issue with the PS3, and works fine with the computer?
 
It has to be a audio setting in the PS3 console, I would recommend messing with that to see if that resolves the issue?

i haven't tried anything yet on the pc (no games) but maybe it is the ps3 thats giving the problems, ill mess with it today
