Asus Xonar STX not detected

While I am waiting for technical support to call me I thought it to be a wise idea to ask on the forum.

 
My Asus Xonar STX soundcard is not detected, and doesn't show up in device manager. I have reseated the card, and yet if I try to download the driver it wont work, and it says please plug in asus Xonar sound card!!
 
Should I put it in a different slot?

Problem solved. Switched it into a different pci slot

Glad to see that you got it resolved. The wierd thing is, it should work in the other slot, as our team did test the audio of your system in that other slot. Perhaps it was still not sitting correctly...

It confused me as well. Yet now I have another problem. My system keeps blue screening.
