I should get my XFX Radeon 5850 Black Edition video card tomorrow.Currently using a G-Force 9800GTX. Tell me if I'm right. Uninstall all the drivers plus PhysX and then run Driver cleaner in Safe mode,after thats done shutdown PC and install new card bootup and install drivers. Should I install the whole Catalyst diver with all the extra stuff that I won't use or just the driver V10.2 only?
Also I love Brother in Arms Hells Highway and it uses PhysX. I will be able to play this game only I won't have PhysX right?

sounds like a good plan.
use driver version 10.3 though. Ouch I would install the whole setup.
yes you can play any game you want with it!

ziggy, how long have you been using driver cleaner?  What are you thoughts on it?

only with Nvidia drivers.... not on ATI. Angry

First of all thank you Justin. I did mean 10.3.(typo) Driver Cleaner is a great little app. I have been using it for a long time and it works great. Cleans all the excess stuff out that regular uninstall doesn't.Takes the hassle out of installing a nice clean set of drivers. Whats nice to is it has multiple cleaner filters. Say you uninstall Nvidia drivers and PhysX,run check the filters box and add which filters you want and it does the rest. And also the price is right for Driver Cleaner Pro. . Simply put for me is I use it and I like it.

yes, but ATI, and the ATI driver writers all recommend laying the new drivers right over the old..

Got my ATI card just now looks very nice. When I uninstall my Nvidia drvers and PhysX Shoul I uninstall my realtec Drivers for my audio and install the ATI audio drivers?

Also I have a Corsair TX 750 watt power supply.It has 4x610mm(24")6+2pin PCI-E connections. Will the 2 connection cables I received with my card Work? I am a little confused.

I just got the same card and I can tell you its a beast. Plays Bad Company 2 on high with no problems. My first card that is not nvidia and it rocks so far.

Well installed my card and works GREAT!!!!!! All my games are fine except Bioshock and I couldn't get the patch installed
