So who's the winner here?  Looking over the benchmarks, ATI outperformed in some games and in some higher resolutions, while NVIDIA did the same in other games and resolutions.

Reviews:

Though while either card seems like a good option, this really didn't sound good for NVIDIA, and I would hope they release a revised board and recall their current cards: http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GeForce_GTX_590/26.html

Though knowing NVIDIA, I am doubtful they will do a recall.

Thoughts on these cards?

OK card for someone who wants a powerful single card, but 2 of them, in quad would be piss poor setup, and a person who wants to OC their cards, I would stay far away. lol

lmao!  Way to go NVIDIA for yet another POS. ;)

I question the long-term reliability even when you're not overclocking, and the short-term when using crappy group regulated power supplies.

dual gpu cards are for people on a budget that need sli, with this card you can go sli and use only one pci lane which then saves you money on the mobo too. I never recommend them unless I have to.
