I find this quite interesting, and only validates that with better drivers one graphics card can be more powerful than another.

I went to Nvidia's website and checked out the GTX280. They have a 3DMark program there that tells you how much "better" your computer would run with their GTX280.

I'm currently running ATI 4870, and after running that 3DMark test it said that I would actually lose 400 pts switching from ATI 4870 to GTX 280. That's crazy!

I'm trying to decide between the 280 or the 4870 X2 they seem to be about the same cost.
