Frequently, maybe 75% of the time, when waking the machine from sleep, no audio. Not from any port or source.
I've confirmed that the drivers are current etc. Googling shows a fair number of people with Win 10 and 11 having the issue. New to me with the new Velox - any thoughts where to look? |

Never mind looking. We do not recommend using sleep or hibernate because it does cause issues, sometimes more dire than no sound.

As Cretae mentioned, we do not recommend sleep or hibernate... for any reason for any system. The problems that sleep and hibernate were created to prevent (CRT screen burn-in) are no longer issues and, again as Cretae pointed out, sometimes cause bigger issues than anything they could prevent.
In other words, disable them both: across the entire system. You can either shut your system down when you're finished for the day or just leave it running. I, personally, leave my system on because it is in a non-sleeping room and the lights from the 3 monitors affects no one. That's just me. |

You have been very lucky. I stopped using "sleep" or hibernate some Window versions ago, Always buggy. Some leave their systems on all the time and only turns the monitors off (not sleep either) when going to be away. Less trouble with startup. Enjoy. |
