I have an

Aventum 3 PC (With below basic information)

1. Water cooled for the 2 SLI NVidia Titan XP 12g video cards.
2. Water cooled for CPU.
3. 128gb DDRR43200mhz
4. Asus ROG Rampage VI Extreme motherboard.
5. 1500W Corsair power supply.
6. Windows 10 Professional 64bit.

which I received in oct 2017. It has been running great then all of the sudden on 10/26/2020 when I boot up the pc I get a "CPU Fan error" on a DOS screen with instructions stating to be sure that the FAN is plugged in and running. The Fan is running and working and the instructions state to press F1 to go to the UEFI BIOS application.

It is happening every time I boot up the PC. The Water cooling system is working and water is running thru the system. The Fan that is directly behind the CPU is also running.

Not sure what the next step would be. DO I need to update the Bios, Chipset etc....

I know that there is a work around in the bios setup under monitor section to select Ignore... and this works but it is not the solution and want to get this fixed the right way.

This occurs either when I am on the Windows desktop or if I play any games.

Thanks for your help !

The CPU fan error may be a sign of a problem with the fan or fans (multiple fans plugged into the CPU_Fan header. If the fan is running, but the motherboard is detecting fan RPMs less than it expects from a BIOS setting (e.g., 1500 RPM), it could give that message. That warning is to ensure there is always a fan cooling the CPU.

There are multiple internet discussions. Here is one:

When booting up, go to the UEFI page, look under monitor on the top of the page, scroll until you reach cpu_fan and choose disregard (its IGNORE, just checked)
( or something to that effect. Hope that works.
