So I bought an aventum 3 off of a friend. He did not do the optional water cooling from hydro lux. So I reached out to digital storm to see what I could do. I ended up purchasing all the components from them to water cool the case. Curious to see if anyone has the same computer case to see how they did it to try and make my life easier when I got to actually install it myself. Pictures or videos would be a big help as to which places the fans are linked up to and how the tubes are positioned throughout the case. Thanks in advance for anyone able to help me out!

Sorry, my case is different. I have an Aventum II. db188 has a 3. Mine has no cooling manifold. I don't think it should be hard at all. Good way to get to know your system. That's very nice that DS sold the parts for the loop. Good to know.

i'm going to bet they've provided him the loop components that they currently use in their Aventum X. if that's the case, my components are all different. they're different anyway due to the initial problems the first production of early adopters like myself encountered with the acrylic used in the distro. if i were the OP i'd have DS walk me thru it. i'm sure they've already done all of the bends in the hardline tubing according to their measurements for the case and where all of the components line up within the loop. if not, that's a whole other tutorial and equipment needed. they didn't have acrylic QDC's at the time and i replaced mine with soft tubing so i could troubleshoot components w/o having to drain/dismantle the loop everytime i needed to pop a graphics card out. DS has current videos on how to service their LC open loops in a variety of cases they sell on YT. it's easy as the hardline tubing just swivels out of the way! |
