Topic: Aventum II *Unboxing*Review! Posted: 02 Feb 2013 at 1:32pm |
Just bought my first Digital Storm Desktop the Aventum II, I ordered it Thursday this week, I cant wait to see how solid their computers really are. I went all out on specs, definitely overkill but I wanted it!

Thank you, yes I most definitely will post pics when it arrives, I was even thinking of making a "unboxing of everything" on youtube, its not every day you spend 9 grand on a computer and accessories, I didnt have a desk or monitor or mouse or gaming pad or speakers or headphones haha, so ran over to Newegg and got everything I needed and the best part is the shipping was FREE!

I will post a link, I know my 3 Asus screens, the mount, mouse and gaming pad will arrive here in a couple days, as for my PC its supposed to ship out on Tuesday this coming week so I wont open up anything period until its all here then start filming the "unboxing" so people can really get a sense of what its like to go all out and hopefully like it.

If you can why don't you take the pictures with your phone, send it to your email address, save the pictures, then click on the file upload button and see what happens...unless you already did that.

For me, it works best when after I upload the pic, I select Insert Image, select the saved file in left panel, and when it appears in right panel I click and drag it over to post window abd drop it.

Nope. I get two boxes that pop up. On the left is my list of saved images and on the right a box shows what I select. Then I drag and drop.

I have never had so much trouble uploading a picture in my life. I tried the phone email etc and saved and hit upload still sitting with asking me for web address crap and I tried when it asks you to choose which file to upload and drag and dropping the picture into the post (which all it does is shows a full screen view of the picture), this is horsesh*t

Ok so this is the final setup, the next post I put up will be the link for my "Youtube unboxing" of the Aventum 2 when it gets here later next week, Then I will also show pictures of the computer hooked up and all and do a huge review. If you notice the cables sitting in front of the screen....yeah forgot that cables and power cords that come with screens wont be long enough, so I had to order 4 power cables 10 feet long each, and 4 HDMI cables 10 feet long. Alex let me know if its ok to post the unboxing of the Aventum 2, I dont know if you want to keep that under wraps until its "officially launched", I figured it would be ok since your reps are letting people who order an Aventum now are getting the new Aventum 2 chassis setup now, which is what a great company should do which makes me even more pleased with DS.

I called DS and asked for the dimensions of the Aventum 2 and so I went out and found a separate stand just for it, if you look on the left of the desk, I will be setting it on top of there.

@Brandon,
There are still external design changes happening to the Aventum II design. You can post an unboxing of your system. |
