Has anyone gone the custom route and got glass made with cutouts for the fans? I get the aesthetics of a single piece of glass, but with the summer heat coming I wanted to give the system room to breathe.

Just wondering if anyone tried yet? Just taking off the glass drops the temp by 3-4C which is pretty significant.

The typical DS system runs about 30-35 C below where you need to be to have any concern - on air alone. The cases are designed to breathe just fine. It's always been a DS "thing".

Seems to me, you cut holes in the glass, you just invited all the dust in the room to make a home inside your case.
