I recently purchased an AVON 17 laptop. It has 32 gb memory. I am wondering if it will handle up to 64GB of memory. Any idea. it has 2 16GB simms ddr4 2666mhz memory.

The Avon laptop is limited to 32 GB RAM max according to the DS info page.

Thank you very much. I was hoping I could swap out the memory with 32GB modules. Oh Well.

Well, I found out that the Avon 17 CAN be updated/upgraded to 64GB of memory. I verified that the I7-9750H processor can handle up to 128GB of memory. I just finished updating my Avon 17 Build 106878 Sept 2019. I added to 32GB Simms off the same specification as the 16 GB that came in it. Booted and updated just fine. Also added additional storage: SSD M.2 (1 TB Samsung 970 PRO)(NVH Express)(Extreme Preformance).
Everything is running just fine.

Awesome!   Glad you got it in and working after all !   DS missed an opportunity there...and should update the configuration tool for Avon RAM based on your experience... Suggest you pass that along by emailing our DS Management forum pal Alex.
