My PC went into Stage 6 Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm.  I understand how important the QA is for the proper operation of the PC,  but we are going on 4 business days and 6 days total waiting for QA. 

When the computer I have ordered is this close to delivery every day just keeps getting longer and longer. 

Sorry just needed somewhere to rant a little.

Hey John,

No worries about the rant, I completely understand where you are coming from. My guess is that they probably found something on Friday afternoon that required some additional tweaking in order to meet their stability standards. Since they're a relatively small company DS isn't open on the weekends (at least not regularly) so that probably caused the delay until Monday.

Of course this is all conjecture on my part, I'd recommend you send an email over to mailto:[email protected] with your order information and ask them what's causing the delay!

You'll have it soon enough and that wait will be worth it! Awesome

Sent an email to DS and just asked why stage 6 for so long.  Lars sent an email back stating there was a problem with the audio on the pc and it is being sent back to the builder.  Hopefully it is nothing really severe because that could be a whole mobo change and I would have to start at the beginning again. 

I am glad they are catching the problems and fixing them but the wait is sometimes hard to accept.

I just wish I could have had a little bit more communication when they found the problem.

There are a million things our QA team finds, and a lot are very minor, our team takes care of them fairly quickly, we don't want customers to feel like the fact the QA team found something, that their system isn't perfect. We won't let a system ship until we feel confident about it.
 
As always, our team is more than happy to look into a delay and provide details as Lars did. I'm sure your system will ship soon. Big%20Smile
