As some of you may recall, I was leaving last week to travel to Orlando, FL to attend Megacon along with a charity organization I helped found called Skiffytown League of Heroes (www.skiffytownheroes.org).

On Friday morning, several of us went to the Disney's Children Hospital to perform an old-time radio show live for some of the children.  The children were wonderful and had a great time, laughing throughout the show.  It was wonderful and we have been invited to return next year when we come back.

On Saturday morning, we had a Children's Costuming Panel where we serviced somewhere between 25-30 children and helped them create new superhero costumes.  It was exhausting and hectic and at one hour, not nearly enough time to do all we wanted to do.  We have ideas for what we can do next year, mainly setting up a booth so we can do the costuming all weekend long.

That afternoon, we had an Adult Costuming on a Budget Panel, which was also very well received.

Sunday morning, we presented the old-time radio show as a panel at the convention and it was well attended and we received a lot of great comments from the audience.

That afternoon, we hosted a Real Life Superhero Panel that explained about the different aspects of being a Real Life Superhero ranging from actual patrolling, police contacts and charity work.  Very informative!

All in all, we had a great time and did a lot of great work.  We have bigger plans for next year and our charity continues to grow.

Great pictures!  Appears to have been a rewarding experience.  The kids all had smiles and that is the important sign of a great event!!!

That is the main focus of our charity, children.

We don't do any one thing, what we do is provide personnel and other support for other charities to help promote their cause.  We have had people do Make-A-Wish, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, epilepsy marches, child id kits, Firefighters 4 Kids (a local toys for tots type program in Cleveland, OH) and a few other things.

It is extremely rewarding and it is wonderful to see a their faces light up when they realize that Superheroes do exist (somewhat).  I always wanted to be a superhero, but never imagined I would actually become one.

You rock Kryhavoc! More people should be like you guys. Helping others is the most rewarding and fulfilling thing anyone can do with their life. So many people are lost these days, and don't realize that's the answer to giving their life real purpose. Great job bro! Ouch
