Seems like there are delays and shortages of components ....I just canceled my order due to delay & lack of name brand power supplies. Going to try and reorder when things cool down a little.

If you would like a brand name power supply, you should ask DS if they would be willing to install it. Sometimes they will take special requests for custom hardware.

But yes, it's a difficult time to order new computers. The wait can be frustrating. I think I was lucky with mine back in July. It only took about 30 days to arrive.

Darn. Sorry to hear that. I bet they are only using power supplies that are currently easy to acquire. So many of them are out of stock.

I asked them to install a custom power supply in my machine, but I'm a local, and I actually purchased the power supply myself, and brought it to them.

Hi JamesAstro!

You have been here long time like me!

I just ordered my new Digital Storm beast to replace my 12 year old one that is showing its age a few days ago.

Since I am 69, I can only hope I get my new one while still on the sunny side of God's beautiful Earth.

Truth is that this 12 year old graying DS beast with an overclocked i7 and an original Titan can still beat some of those young whipper-snappers in games.

But James you are making an old man nervous talking about delays! I am fully vaccinated does that help any?

The delays are so hard to predict. Back when I ordered my machine, I thought it would take 2 months to arrive, but it only took a month. Hopefully you'll be just as lucky.

JamesAstro,

Lucky is my middle name so I ought to be fine and avoid lengthy delays!

Actually my middle name is Eugene which doesn't sound lucky at all!

Thank God DS has quality builds that has kept me in the game all these years! Believe it or not the Digital Storm T-Shirt that I got 12 years ago with this beast is still in good shape & I wear it often. Quality computer build and quality T-Shirts.

I hope they still have those famous DS T-Shirts! People see me wearing it and it gives me a chance to brag on Digital Storm. This is a hint for Alex to toss a T in the box with the computer.

Snaike,

I won't cancel my order over a T-Shirt but they were sure nice to get.

I was serious about the Digital Storm T-Shirt quality. Maybe some of us old Gamers that cherished and still have their DS T-Shirts can do a group picture some day.

Mine still fits which I bet isn't true for everybody!

XL

Still fits, darn it!

I recommended 'em to everyone when they were still free, but I'd have paid for one. Guess not enough people agreed.

Cretae,

The DS shirts were real conversation starters especially in public with non-gamers wondering what a Digital Storm was.
