Remember, gaming computers are still computers... they can help with homework etc. Sort of like the carrot and the stick.
My back to school shopping consisted of clothes, pencils and folders. We didn't even do backpacks then... you carried your books in your hands.

I would put my money on it being more college students than anything else, lots of degrees require complicated computing (Game design/Film/Photography/Digital Design) that is only the tip of the ice berg of students who will need advanced pcs "Gaming Computers" for their craft.

Yeah it is a busy season every year not only in digitalstorm, everywhere, and not only in computer industry. :P
I feel you, really. You wanted to have a good go before the school takes your time haha. Just keep in mind that the first few weeks are chill on homework. At least it used to be when i was in school |

I would imagine that desktops are not the preferred system choice for college bound students. A laptop would be better IMO but like Snaike, I carried my books in one arm and for computing I had a slide rule in my plastic lined shirt pocket along with an assortment of pens and pencils. So what the **** do I know about today's college bound.

I didn’t carry a lot of books. Hence my grades.
The good thing about slide rules, aka slipstick, ......never had to recharge them.

Hey it gets bad before it gets better, cheer up! Your computer is on the way, and you won't have a lot of tasks in school early. Start building your wishlist what you wanna do with the new tech to pass the time instead :)
