Wow, that's some system you configured.

Are you going to use this pc for science/engineering/enterprise work? The hardware is certainly there.  Strong

Make sure you tell DS that the hardline should be built around the gpu and not in front of it. that will make r&r a lot easier.

Keep us posted and please send some images of that beauty when you get it.

Thanks all. We got our first set of DS workstations back in February with Threadripper Pro's under the hood. For the most part we have been Team Intel but once AMD came out with PCIe 5 hardware, we were intrigued. So.. these machines will be doing a little AI, machine learning and maybe.. just maybe a bit gaming. LOL

We were hoping Samsung would release their 990 Pro M.2's but that hasn't happened yet. Good chance that the two extra 980 pro's will get replaced with some of the Crucial PCIe 5 M.2's that are starting to be advertised.  We think we are getting the 4090 FE's but that hasn't been confirmed yet. I will post once pics once they are delivered.

Things are moving right along. Hit Stage 2 and then Stage 3 yesterday. Their estimated shipping is pretty close. Hopefully will ship next week via freight.

Stage 4 today.  Things are moving along. Ordered one of the new Samsung 55" monitors to go with it. Have a new 49" LG GSync to play games on it. I dont think I will need to buy any more stuff any time soon.

Im in stage 7. I stayed in stage 5 for almost 2 weeks as the there were stability issues with 128GB's of memory at 4800. Its been knocked down to 4400Mhz and that seems to work just fine. Hopefully future bios updates to the MB will fix the issues. Should ship today or tomorrow.  I will take pictures when I get it.
