Backlog Timeframe for PC Build

Hello out there! New user and here. I just ordered my first PC and wanted to get a bit of insight as to timeframe from purchase to ship. It's in a backlog at this point so wasn't sure what to expect. Anyone have experience with how long it takes when a build goes to backlog? Thanks for the replies!

My last couple of build, last one a few months ago, took just about 1 month before shipping. Then a week to ship to East Coast.     For backlogs, that’s totally dependent on when the parts show up, obviously.   Every case is different.

A call to DS might narrow it down.

My orders with DS are so old as to no longer really be relevant insofar as timelines go, but I'd second the notion of anticipating at least one month between ordering and shipping (+delivery time). To me that's a nice buffer zone and if it shows up earlier then you've got a nice surprise on your hands! Ultimately the specifics of the backlog are what matter most (one person's 2 week backlog is another's 2 month) and for that you'd have to follow bprat's suggestion and call DS directly.

Some of us are of the inquiring type and I have to ask for the rest of us, what did you order? Excited

If you ordered a system with an unobtanium part the delay might be longer. Fortunately crypto mining is out for the moment and with new graphic cards allegedly coming soon, the manufacturers are unloading a lot of their inventory so availability is great at the moment.

Thank you for the welcome! Good news is my build is now in Stage 4 already!! I was expecting more of a wait time to get to this stage, but hey, surprises are always good!
