Anyone use these with their 758 board?  I'm looking to go 1600 to overclock higher.

Mushkin isn't able to keep up with our demand.

Kingston is also a great choice. They have agreed to follow a specific testing method for us for all batches that arrive to our facility. We have certified their sticks with our systems.

Justin I betting you don't like 3gb kits but I am poor.  How about this kit from DS?  They priced very well.  http://digitalstormonline.com/product.asp?id=142222
I do not even come close to using 80% of 3 gigs. So I was thinking 3 gigs is enough.

the ones I posted were tight timings, if you want loose timings, some 6 GB kits are pretty cheap.

but yeah, go for 6Gb, in the long run it will be a much better inventment

3800 Mhz / 21 = 181 x8 = 1448 Mhz RAM.   is that what you are shooting for?
yes your cooler should do that, as long as the CPU is average, and your ambient temps are average.

Yes that is what I was gonna go for and thanks for answering my question.  I was trying to figure if it was worth it to buy this RAM and I feel that I'd want a 3.8 OC to make it worth it.  I prolly gonna go with the mushkin blacklines you recomended only 3gb for now and add 3 later if need be.  I just can't afford a 6gb kit.  All money is being diverted to the new house Lol.  And those mushkin should not have any problems with the X58 3X sli board?  I read it can be finiky.

My highest temp with currect 3.4 OC after 100 passes of LinX (HT on) was 63*C monitored by real temp.

no problem now, but when you add another 3Gb, it can cause a lot of problems with an overclock.. that is why I was pushing the 6Gb

Ah Ok so I'd have to install the RAM at stock speeds and then prolly retest my OC settings?

Also I dont know if you caught this cause I edited my post as you were posting but here are my  temps with overclock --My highest temp with currect 3.4 OC after 100 passes of LinX (HT on) was 63*C monitored by real temp

3.6Ghz-3.8Ghz will be no problem.
3 sticks of RAM is a lot easier to overclock then having 6 sticks. It has to do with the memory controller being on the CPU, while it is possible, it just puts a bit more stress on things, and limits the overclock some, but like I said, it is still possible to do.

OK thanks Justin.  It looks like I am gonna have to save an extra week or so and just get the redlines.  People on the EVGA forum are sayin the exact same thing about them.  Hopefully you will have the time to help me achieve my 3.8 goal when I get better ram (hopefully redlines).

Also I hope you get your stuff this wekeend and update the drunken monkey can't wait to see with all your H2O hooked up.  And I don't know why but I somehow knew you were gonna switch and go back to ATI. LOL.

I really don't know if I made a very good choice on my graphics cards, prolly should have got the GTX 480's....
