hey guys,
my current computer has jsut completly died (using parents lappy)and all attempts to revive it have failed. i have a configuration all set and ready to go when i get the money together but i was wondering if i can just get the basic parts and then get the others latter then i could get back online sooner here is my rig setup motherboard evga p55 sli (intel p55 chipset) mwave video card 1G GTX460 Gigabyte msy memory 4G Kit ddr3 1600 Kingston HyperX Blue msy hard disk WD SATA 500G msy atx case cool master cm storm sniper pc case gear monitor 20.1” 5ms Philips msy network card ASUS PCE-N13 802.11 mwave dvd rw IDE Samsung msy cpu intel Core i5-650 msy power supply Coolermaster GX Power 750 msy fan control Aerocool Touch 2000 Front Panel mwave cpu cooling coolermaster v6gt cpu cooler pc case gear where it says mwave, msy, or pc case gear they are the places where i intend to buy the products from. so what would i need to get up and runnign playing music email and watching movies form my external. i have an old screen i can use. cheers in advance |

im building my own comp with these parts but if i save up and get them all at once it will be like another 6 weeks till i get a comp. so i was wonderig what i could get right now just to get the comp operational then put the rest in when i get the money

At this point, you will need everything you have listed minus the monitor/Aerocool if you want your PC up and running.

Ditch that Aerocool altogether. It looks cool, but it doesn't give accurate temps, or control all your fans, so... pretty much useless on your budget.

ditch the fan controller. ditch the NIC card. swap to corsair psu, maybe TX line. with savings, you can then add an i7-750 or a corsair Force 40GB SSD.

i need the network card or i wont be able to get wireless interwebs.
i cant put a cable through all of the walls already looked at that, unless htta motherboard has it intergrated. |
